Training and coaching
In addition to the free training and information available in our Publications and Podcasts sections, the following training sessions are available, either on a one-to-one basis or for groups.
Although some are aimed principally at lawyers, many will also be of interest to anyone who has involvement with putting together deals, especially in the technology arena. This could include:
- Contract managers
- Other professional advisers, eg. consultants
- Project sponsors, eg. CFO, CIO
The legal principles will be based on English law, but many of the sessions are relevant for international deals where the contracts will be based on a Common Law approach.

Ideally, training will be provided at the client’s premises but we can arrange to host sessions in London. Delegates will be provided with documentation and copies of any slides which are used and all our sessions are designed to be as interactive as possible, to encourage debate and discussion and to be enjoyable as well as informative.
Rory also provides coaching and mentoring to lawyers in senior roles in firms or corporations who would like an external and confidential source of advice on:
- How to approach a particular transaction or project
- Managing a team
- Developing or changing their skills
Generally, it is assumed that this service would be provided on behalf of the firm or corporation, as a benefit to the individual.
